Information Network Cabling Lks – SMKN 1 Masbagik won 1st place in the NTB Provincial Level Information Network Cable Competition
East Lombok – Kholifaturrahman, a student of Masbagik State Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 won 1st place in the 30th West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) Student Competence Competition (LKS) in 2022 in Sumbawa Regency from 20 to 23 June 2022.

Kholifaturrahman himself won the information network wiring competition. And he is eligible to represent NTB at the 30th LKS National Event later in September 2022.

The Deputy Head of SMKN 1 Masbagik Tantowi Jauhari is very grateful for the success achieved by his students in the competition. In addition, SMKN 1 Masbagik itself is only two years old and this is the first time that it also participates in LKS at NTB provincial level.
“Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful for the success of our students. Also, we are a new vocational school and we only have two years,” explained Tantowi. “This is also the first time we participated in the LKS competition held during NTB Province, this is happiness for us in SMKN 1 Masbagik,” he said.
Tantowi also disclosed that SMKN 1 Masbagik sent its students to 4 areas of competition namely graphic design technology, web page design, fashion technology and network cabling of -computer information.
“We send students to participate in 4 points of the competition. It’s just that we won in the field of computer information network cable competition. It happened that the winner was Kholiifaturrahman who is still in Class X at SMK. In this competition, we were able to compete and win out of the 17 students who participated in NTB,” he said.

On the other hand, the deputy principal of the school said that currently SMKN 1 Masbagik is being appointed by the NTB Provincial Office of Education and Culture (DIKBUD) to focus on the main main subjects ie the Computer and Information Technology and for basic support degrees. , i.e. the Art of the Creative Economy.
“Oh yes, we at SMKN have been appointed by the Department of Education and Culture to focus on the main core of the department, namely computer technology, and to focus on the supporting core of -majors, i.e. art, creative economy”, he explained.
SMKN 1 Masbagik is currently focusing on further improving Kholifaturrahman’s skills and knowledge so that he is then ready to take LKS on a national level. Hopefully Kholifaturrahman can provide the best for NTB and especially for SMKN 1 Masbagik.
The SMK-SLB Student Skills Competition (LKS) is an event to measure the proficiency level of students’ skills. This competition is equivalent to the Science Olympiad at the SMA-MA level. The LKS SMK-SLB is held every year, from the district level to the national level. (Ozie)
