When Smart Chord is activated, pressing a key or pad will play the entire chord instead of a single note. The key or pad you press determines the root note of the chord. Other chord properties (major, minor, and voice – 1, 3, 5; 1, 3, 7; 1, 3, 5, 7, etc.) are determined by the settings you choose. Smart Chord also has a custom mode that allows you to specify the chord structure to be assigned to each key by playing it manually. For example, if you select Custom Mode and play a 1-b3-5-b7 chord, each key will be assigned that chord structure. The note of the key you press will act as the root of the chord and all parameters can be adjusted directly in Oxygen Pro 25!

Note Repeat lets you hold down any of M-Audio’s custom-made performance pads and you’ll hear a repeating rhythmic pattern in selectable note divisions. Note The repeat function may be momentarily enabled or available in Latch mode. If you select Momentary, pressing the Note Repeat button will automatically repeat the note played with the pad. If you select Latch, pressing any pad will repeat the assigned note without having to hold down the Note Repeat button.
Built-in Arpeggiator The Arpeggiator will affect whatever you play on the keyboard from any virtual instrument in your DAW. When the Arpeggiator is activated, the keyboard will repeatedly play the pressed keys in sequence. The timing and rhythm of the arpeggiator is based on the keyboard’s time division setting and either the keyboard’s tempo setting or your DAW’s. Each note in the arpeggio has the length you chose for the time division setting; for example, if you choose 1/4, each note in the arpeggio will be a quarter note. This powerful tool can work in Latch or Momentary mode, making it easy to unleash your creativity.
